1964 Buick Riviera - Always a California car! I spent close to 3 years looking for a super super clean, all original, straight, Zero Rust, Original Sheet Metal Buick Riviera to build a custom. I found and bought this car in Southern California around 6 months ago. It had been owned by several "car enthusiasts" and the car has lived a nice/easy life (I can email the details to the buyer). I had a professional body man and another respected "car guy" scope out the car for me and bless it before my purchase. I then shipped it in an enclosed car hauler out to IL. (This vehicle has never seen salt, or the bad weather we have out here or on the East Coast....it is very very very clean). Folks, this is really nice, original, clean, and straight car that we do not normally see around here - I am a car guy and I bought this car with full intention of long term ownership, but the reality is that I have too many cars, projects, etc. So I will be losing some money trying to sell the Buick...My loss is your gain... It has all the proper specs of a 1964 Buick Riviera: 425 Cubic Inch Engine (340hp/465lb. ft - WildCat motor), original black vinyl interior (no leather in 1964), A/C, Power Windows, Power Seats Good Stuff: Since my ownership I have spent around $4K on the Buick to make it reliable and driveable by a very reliable/respected shop: Safety inspection and replacement all necessary items Tune-up, brakes, sealing the powertrain, flushing all the fluids, coolinng system, Hoses, Belts, rubber items, some fuel line, Tune-up, ...lights, You get the idea... You can get in and drive it across country Some of the work that was performed by the previous owner: Fresh paint job less than 5 years ago - (so recent enough for the paint to look nice and new, but long ago to show any flaws if it were not done properly) - It really looks nice Brand new Coker tires Brand new Astro Supreme wheels Motor was rebuilt in the past 5 years - (I did not get any receipts, but I trust the previous owner, plus it starts up and runs fine) New carbureator and other seals/gaskets/water pump/... New shock absorbers etc. What is not perfect with the car? This is a 48 year old car - mostly all original, and it is NOT a new car! :) It needs the trunk seal and the door rubber seals Some of the light bulbs on the interior or burnt out The Black Paint is not the Original Color for the vehicle Everything works on the car, but it can use some more "TLC" like any old car ...It just needs someone to "play with it and dial her in". It is all about integrity...I have a 100% ebay feedback, and somewhat a known person in the car world. I am not trying to rip-off anyone and I am doing as well of a job as I can to describe the vehicle. Please ask me any questions that you have. Having said this you can have this car inspected and decide. Inspection of the Vehicle: The Vehicle is currently sitting at one of the most reputable Hot Rod Shop in IL.
