for sale here is a pair of mk2 gti's. both are 16v cars. the first is the 87'. white exterior black roll pleated interior. 17" bbs ak wheels powdercoated satin black on good 205 40 falken ziex tires. billstein coilovers. nuespeed sway bars. subframe connector. upper strut connectors. eurosport header. eurosport stainless exhuast with a cat on a test pipe. reged california smoged. lots of maintenance .i.e. all fluids including differential and coolant. new water pump& timing belt.full tune up. cap,rotor,irridium plugs. bahn brenner 8mm silicon wires. new front axles. new pbr metalic brakes. new rotors/wheel bearings all four. new very hard to acquire euro small bumpers (waited 10 weeks) all new fender flares (4) (even harder to get).new four headlight front grille with pass highbeam converted to a fresh intake inlet.airbox mod.k&N filter. new injectors andbraided fuel lines.all sensors replaced and working,including knock sensor.new crosshair style headlights with sylverstar H3 conversion. mk3 style door handles(big improvement) someone had converted it into a big bumper car and i put it back right including some parts for the lower valance that are non existent and i was luckily enough to glean from a local yard before they crushed the donor an 85' base model 2 door golf also white!. took the oppurtunity to swap some of the sheet metal because it was the same color and slightly nicer then my stuff. pass front fender, hood, decklid. also comes with yakima rack and phantom dual bike setup and front spoiler. the second car is the black 91' big bumper car. original was an 8v gti . swapped for a 2.0 16v 9a engine code( real german) out of a 1990 karmann jetta. runs strong drives well but didnt smog last time around. ive owne it for 9 years and theres too much maintnance to list. mods however include. neuspeed computer chip. neuspeed lowering springs. sway bar. neuspeed short shift kit and weighted linkage. bought the white car for a parts car and upon further inspection decided to try and smog it . it passed so i started throwing $ at it. over 3k invested and lots and lots of hours of tinkering. its a very fun car . the black one has never let me down. facing tough financial situation, must sell
