Original F2 with only 123,500 miles in excellent running condition! Smooth shifting transmission. Transfer case is rebuilt with Marks 3-1 gear set. Lock Right locker equipped rear end. This highly desirable year model is equipped with the center console heater,(81 to 83 FJ 40 only ) late model 2F motor, E brake on the rear axle with lever on the floor instead of transfer case. For comfortable freeway driving axles are equipped with 3.7 gears. This FJ40 was built to be reliable, capable and comfortable. Special care was taken during modifications to enhance the capabilities without loosing the "stock" look. The Cruiser is 99% rust free(small area on Pass rocker sill underside of the body below the passenger door and bottom windshield frame where the gasket traped water between the frame and cowel but not noticible and will not be a problem (see images). Everything works as it should and the FJ40 tracks straight down the road. You see these late models go for low to high 20's and this one is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. This is a solid driver and turns a lot of heads.
