Vehicle Detail
1976 Triumph TR6 Beautiful Car! See Pictures and ask questions! The paint is almost perfect! The chrome bumpers are also very nice with no rust. All original except for new clutch and brand new top(see receipt). Top is the expensive one with silver trim! Can send pics. Decided to put in new clutch to be sure there will be no problems for new buyer(see receipts) Interior is black, seats are in very nice condition with no rips. Wood Dash is all original and is very nice as well. Vinyl on dash is also in very nice condition. Pull the choke and the car fires right up! Let the car warm up and the car runs down the road as smooth as silk. Will cruise on interstate at 70-75 miles per hour and just hums. The car is a blast to drive! The engine does not make any funny noises or smoke at all. The car idles perfectly! All lights, blinkers and horn work as intended. The car even has the original British Fm radio which works as well. The car has some new ball joints and tie rod ends(see receipt). Tires are red lines and have lots of tread left. The car runs in a straight line with no shimmy or pulling. Also, I have the original owners manual and a repair manual. The car also has the original air pump on the motor hooked up as well as the other smog devices. I have an original type air cleaner for the car, I prefer the foam filters as currently fitted. The gearbox shifts like silk. If you are looking for a very nice TR6 that has no rust and may never rust???? Look no further....this car was zebarted years ago and has all of the visible yellow plugs. It seems like every place possible was sprayed to prevent the car from rusting. Most TR6's I have seen have fair amounts of rust. Forget about this one rusting anytime soon...it won't! This car came originally came from a high arid part of Colorado which does not have much humidity. The car has been in Missouri for just a few years. I am only selling this car because I have the opportunity to buy an Austin Healey just like the one I owned back in the early 90's..a 62 Healey 3000 triple carb. This was the last car that I restored and has much sentimental value. Anyway, I think whoever buys the TR6 will be very happy, the car truly looks and runs almost like a new TR6! Call me with any questions...636-262-9804. I can help get the car shipped in the USA or also out of St.Louis, Mo. to anywhere in the world. I do require a 500. dollar deposit within 24 hours.Car is sold as-is and I can hold car in a garage for a month or two if that helps. Also, I am about 30 minutes from the airport in St.Louis, if you want to see or test drive the car. I have a Missouri Title in my name. Thanks On May-15-12 at 15:23:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Tomorrow night I am going to take pictures of the top and also some close ups as requested. Please send your e-mail address as I posted the 24 picture limit on EBAY. Thanks Also, the car is the Pimento Red color. ...Very sharp!
