Thanks for looking. This is a numbers matching 65 Skylark Gran Sport with the original 401 Engine. I will try to go over everything I know about this car for you so you can make an informed decision on it. The car starts and runs fine no smoke or noises the transmission goes right into gear forward and reverse it has new water pump new tune up new brakes all 4 wheels and new wheel cylinders all 4 wheels and most of the brake lines. This is a nice looking driver car....IT IS NOT A SHOW CAR... for that it would need restored, the paint looks good a few feet away but is an amature job and it shows the little dings and places where the car needed better sanding. The car was restored in the 80's at that time the interior was replaced and is very nice even though two tone in color the carpets are fine the headliner is fine and the vinyl top was put on in beautiful work no bubbles under it at all but, when the top was put on the clips for the windshield chrome was removed and I do not have enough to safely hold the chrome on now so it will be removed before the buyer picks it up so it doesn't blow off during transport. It is missing the arm rest for the front doors and I am trying to locate a pair but for now we'll just leave it as missing I did find 2 sun visors for it that will be included with the car. The lights work and the tach works but needs to be wired in if I get a chance I will do that but I have surgery coming up soon that is why I am selling this car. Again the car is good for a driver quality car and the under carriage is in good shape some surface rust but nothing through or heavy. I am listing this car in other mediums so I reserve the right to end this auction early, I will not take less than the opening price for it because I know full well what I have. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions. I will only require a 100 non refundable deposit on the car to cover my cost to ebay should you back out of the deal. I did not get my seller rating by doing bad deals. I have not driven the car except around the block but I hope to have a you tube video before the auction is over so everyone can see and hear it run. Thanks again for looking. I forgot to mention that before the auction ends I will have a new Carter Carburetor for the car it is ordered already the one on the car does not have a choke so I purchased a new one. sorry again I forgot to mention that I am missing 1 parking light lens for the front and also I have been made an offer which includes a 90 1500 Goldwing and cash that I will be considering tonight, just wanted to give everyone a heads up on that. This will be my last revision to this listing guys...the parts store called me today to tell me the carburetor has been back ordered so I will not get the new carb before 5/24 according to them.....I just wanted to let everyone know that if the buyer wants to leave the car here until that date I will install it but as most of you know it is only a 4 bolt job to put it on and I can send it to the new owner.....just wanted everyone aware of this and.......for now I decided not to trade the car for the Goldwing but it has been advertised in other mediums as of this afternoon.
