I bought this car from a small used car lot in Hagerstown, MD in December, 1987. We made some basic repairs and drove it occasionally for a few years. It has been kept in our garage in Hagerstown since 1990. In late 2006, I took it to the leading foreight sports car shop in our area, Worthington's Foreign Car Service, and asked him to go over it thoroughly and do everything necessary to put it in first class mechanical order. Between October, 2006, and June, 2007, Roger Worthington did repairs and upgrades totalling $5647.32, replacing many large and small items, systems and parts throughout the vehicle. When finished, he pronounced it in perfect shape. I will provide copies of the itemized repair bills from Worthington to potential buyers of this vehicle. Since that time, it has run perfectly in both summer and winter weather. I then had a new black interior (seats, door panels,dash, carpeting, etc) and black convertible top installed totalling approximately $1500. The interior is in like new condition. We damaged the top by closing it improperly. There is a hole on each side of the top near the rear window where the frame poked through while we were closing it the wrong way. This is the only known defect of any type with this vehicle. Shortly afterwards, I had the car painted at a cost of approximately $700. The tires are very good, the spare tire is brand new, never used. Including the original cost, I have invested a little over $10,000 in this car over the past 35 years. It is a beautiful car, fun to drive, and one of a dying breed. Since my wife and I are at the age where we no longer drive it, we are reluctantly offering it for sale.
