I am selling my 1986 BMW 325es with 72,000 miles. The car is pristine. It has never seen rain (really). I have owned it for two years and it is such a pleasure to drive. I get compliments on it whenever I drive it. It handles like a dream. It looks fast parked. It is faster when you drive it. It is an old school sports car that doesn’t require you to fix it after every drive. It is also very safe. No one builds cars like the Germans! These cars are known to go over 250,000 miles before overhaul. All systems work. No engine lights. The air conditioning works and blows delightfully chilly air. It comes with all the books and papers including its entire maintenance history. It even has the white BMW tri folder that has the cassette tape player cleaning head as well as the dealer window sticker (suggested retail $22,540.00 / leather upholstery $790.00/ BMW sound system 225.00/ ….Total: $24,010.00). The paint is gorgeous and stands up to scrutiny even in bright sun. The only blemish is a small clear coat issue about the size of a quarter on one of the pillars. You can hardly notice it unless you look very, very closely. It has 3-4 very small garage dings. I tried to take pictures of them but you have to really look hard to see them as well. The paint is not compromised. If you wanted the car perfect, a paint-less dent removal person could remove theses tiny infractions in 15 minutes. The only issue paint wise is the factory trunk spoiler which is made of rubber (or some kind of composite). It looks ok but the paint after 25 years is a little off. I guess this is a common problem. The interior is in great condition. The carpets are spotless and there is no fade. The leather seats are in great shape. No rips or tears in the leather. The leather is still supple and looks nice. There is some very early aging in the aging but nothing to worry about. The original tool kit and spare is in the trunk. The tires are nearly brand new and have about 1,000 miles on them. Everything is factory original. No monkey business on this car. Brakes are 98%. Fluids all fresh! No accidents. No stories. The under side of the car is as clean as the engine compartment. Please examine the pictures of the car carefully. They tell it all! This car is for local pick up only and is located in Hudson, Ohio. The fine print…I do not offer second chance bids. You can look it over and see if it is the car for you! Test drives will not be offered because of insurance purposes. The winning bidder will get that privilege.
