This is a beautiful original MG. This car with only 17,900 original miles has always been in constant SUMMER ONLY service. No long term storage here. All mechanical systems are in A-1 condition. Nothing mechanical needs to be repaired or rebuilt. Remember, miles this low don't often come to market. A car like this can be driven anywhere with confidence for many, many years. I'm very familiar with old cars. This is a bargain & a keeper. The paint is original & is very nice. My brother is only selling because of advanced age & back problems require him to now have a car with an orthopedic contoured seat. He can only drive this car for very short periods of time. Mileage may slightly increase as the car is still being used. The car has been lovingly cared for, always garaged. The engine is 1800cc 4 cylinder. The transmission is four speed manual with overdrive for use in 3rd and 4th gears. The interior is tan with black accents, bumpers and convertible top. The mileage is 17,900. Included are wire spoke wheels, luggage rack, car cover, convertible top and tonneau covers, jack, and original driver’s handbook. I purchased the car in May 2000 when it had about 10,000 miles. Service has included tires, hoses and master brake cylinder in 2000, fuel pump and exhaust in 2001, brake pads in 2004, battery in 2006, front floor mats in 2011. Service receipts are available. The car does not have a catalytic converter. Being 35 years old the car has a few minor dings. The convertible top has a 2 inch cut in the side that was there when I bought it. There are five or six very minor scratches. The engine hood and the driver side door have very minor dents that are barely noticeable. The radio is not connected to the speakers. The muffler is developing a hole. Wish I didn't have a bad back....but I gotta sell my baby! Buy it for yourself....you derseve the best.
