1984 911 carrera Targa.whaletail, mileage 109,000. Runs excellent, no smoke, no leaks. Starts , Shifts and drives very well. lots of reciepts from original owner. Major items include: Clutch, transmission rebuilt at 47K miles, Ball joints/turbo type tie rod ends/Bilstien shocks replaced at 85K miles. New tires/battery at 107K miles. Oil return tubes have been replaced with expandable type, valves recently adjusted and gaskets replaced. Everything on the car works. Car has front and rear bumpers/body kit from 92? 911, these are original porsche parts,not after market. Paint appears to be original, there is normal wear and tear such as dings, paint aging etc but paint is shiny and the car looks great. The car has no rust or apparent previous body damage.. Targa top has been re-done and fits well with no leaks. I have included pictures of the exterior/interior as well as the underside of the car. I bought the car in Mar 2011 from the second owner. This car does not have any drivability issues, is dependable and fun to drive. I tried to get pictures of the body dings but they are very small and do not show up well on in the photos. This car is being sold as is with no warranty. I am located in Bloomington Ill, approx. 2 hours south of Chicago, buyer will be responsible for pickup or arranging shipping, if needed, I will drop car off at local shipping point for buyer. Winning bidder will pay a $1000 deposit via paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Remainder of price will be cash or cashier check at time of pickup. I have a clear Illinois title for this car.
