Vehicle Detail
For auction is a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. This is a sharp looking car with lots of extras. Extras include 18" chrome wheels, LED street glow under the body of the car that can be changed to 7 different colors and has multiple patterns, LED license plate light, LED reverse tail lights, 15% tint all the way around, Pioneer CD player head unit with hook ups to subs and amps leading to the hatch, sunroof. This car is also equipped with the automatic transmission with a sporttronic shift (slap stick). Fun to drive and great on gas! The car DOES NEED some engine work though. I was told by a mechanic that it has a cracked head. Car can be started but not driven far due to overheating caused by the cracked head. I was given an estimate that it would cost around $800-$1200 to have it pay to get fixed. I, however, do not have the time to deal with it so I am selling it as is. If you are a good mechanic, know a good mechanic, can get parts for cheap, or just want a project car for yourself or for you and your kid, then this is the car for you. Buy it, fix it, resale it for a nice profit. My loss is your gain! Car also has a vibration to it as of right now, but was told it was an easy wheel bearing fix. This car has always got second looks driving down the road or while it is parked. It is a very SHARP car! It just needs a little work to it to get it going strong down the road again. Everything else on the car works great, from the transmission to the power windows. IF you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I will reply promptly and answer all your questions. I am also selling this car in classifieds locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thank your for looking and good luck! Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs or you can come pick it up! On May-07-12 at 05:52:18 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE 5/7/12: I just realized that in my description I didn't give a description of the body of the car. The car's body is in pretty good shape for age of car. As you can see in the pictures, the car still shines and paint color still looks good. There are a few very small rock dings and rock paint chips on car, but nothing serious at all or worse than what is expected of a used car. The front bumper also has a small crack which is barely noticeable caused by hitting an animal on the highway. Its so minor, I never even thought of getting it fixed as it is not noticeable. Although the information listed in this description is probably expected of a car that is 11 years old and isn't an eye sore or plays a negative impact on the look of the car, I wanted potential buyers to be aware to maintain an honest and trustworthy relationship with them. Again, this car is in good shape compared to others of the same age. It is a great looking car and will get good looks from those who see it. Very sharp! Again thank you for looking and good luck. I hope I haven't discouraged potential buyers, I just wanted to try and give a honest description of the body of the car, because it is a beautiful car.
