Vehicle Detail

This is a nice old car that has been driven daily by me for the last month or so. I have probably put 500 or 600 miles on it in that time period and it seems mechanically sound. It has a good running 351 cleveland 2 barrel which has good power. It does NOT smoke or knock. The transmission shifts and engages smoothly. The steering and brakes seem good. The exhaust is true duals and it rumbles pretty nice. The right exhaust manifold leaks where it mounts to the head but new gaskets are included. It has had a recent tune up it drives pretty darn good for a 39 year old unrestored car! It has a matched set of 235/60/15 coopers with about 70% tread. The power top goes up and down with no problems. It will need replaced as it has a tear which has duct tape on it. It is equipped with the factory tachometer and gauge package and they all work. The lenses on the three gauge pod are fogged over. The original radio works and the dash pad is perfect. The lights, turn signals, brake lights and horn all work. It has the deluxe interior with the high back bucket seats and woodgrain door panels. Someone put small speakers in the door panels. The seats will need re upolstered. The car was originally blue glow metallic that has been painted black. It looks good from about 15 feet but it is an old paint job that probably wasn't great to begin with however it still gets a lot of looks, questions and thumbs up. It has a lot of potential and can either be fully restored or you can drive it while you fix it up. As to be expected from a 39 year old Mustang there are some rust issues but overall it is more solid than most.I have tried to describe this vehicle accurately and to the best of my ability. This car is being sold " AS IS" with no warranty expressed or implied. I have a clean and clear title in my name. This car has a huge book value according to NADA low retail is $14 K and average is $20k. I have it insured thru hagerty for $14K just by sending them one picture. Please feel free to contact me @ (727)324-8940 with any questions or to arrange in person inspection. Car is listed locally so I reserve right to end auction early. I have the standard Marti report which can be faxed or emailed upon request. May consider partial trade for small pick-up. Set the alarm on your phone for auction end time so you don't miss this one!
