Here is an all original well kept 1966 galaxie 500 xl fastback. This car has power steering, Rare in dash ac, auto on column, fender skirts and 390 bbf. I am said to be the 3rd owner of the car. Bought brand new here in Rome Georgia. This galaxie is the factory z code car with a factory 390 big block that has been professionally rebuilt top to bottom all new internals. Factory S code intake manifold. Updated with electronic Mallory ignition and a new holley 4 bb carb. At the time of the engine rebuild the car had a complete drive train overhaul including rebuilt transmission and rear end service. All new master brake kit, driveshaft, u joints, hard lines, fuel lines, sending unit , shocks, tires, vacuum,heater hoses and lots more. The front end is still tight. The ac has not been recharged since engine was reinstalled. It’s all complete and worked great before all the work was done. I have some original paperwork when car was bought new along with all 3 original keys that operate trunk, ignition and door. The paint is driver quality showing some age, but never tried to buff the paint back out ??? There is absoulty no rust in any floor pans or trunk all rust free. Small amounts of paint bubbling on one rear quarter. No major dent or dings. Very straight and solid. Bumpers and grill along with the rest of the chrome is extremely nice. Interior is all original with a few seams splitting original carpet but very presentable for a driver. All major gauges work including original am radio. Cd player installed previously installed. This car runs out excellent and is very reliable. You can drive this car at hwy speed with one hand no problem. Don’t miss this opportunity.
