Thank you for your cooperation. ******************************************************************************************** Offered is a 2003, Pontiac Grand Am GT, four door, equipped with a 3.4L /204, six-cylinder engine. This Grand Am has 78,510 miles and is being sold with NO RESERVE so we do not have to re-list. This vehicle is being auctioned by the Woodridge Illinois Police Department. The history of this vehicle is unknown as it was seized during a September 9, 2011 traffic arrest. After the arrest, the vehicle was stored inside a warehouse until the Grand Am was awarded to the Woodridge Police Department on February 9, 2012 by court order. We hold clear title. We will attempt to describe this vehicle to the best of our ability and you may inspect the vehicle, in person, by appointment. The interior of the vehicle appears to be in good shape. There is wear to the leather seats and carpet that would be expected for a vehicle of this age. (see photos) The air conditioner blows cold air and there is an intermittent clicking noise coming from the middle of the dashboard. It is unknown if this noise is associated with the CD player. This is not a guarantee that the vehicle will not need any further maintenance or service. The body has no significant dents, scratchers or visible rust. The wheels need to be cleaned. (see photos) During a very brief test drive the Grand Am accelerated and stopped as would be expected for a vehicle of its age. There is a rattling noise in the front end when driving over bumps. The vehicle also most likely needs a new battery. If it is parked for an extended period of time the vehicle needs be jump started. This is not a guarantee that the vehicle will not need any further maintenance or service. Other than these stated observations we have no further information regarding this vehicle’s history. We always disclose everything we know about our vehicles, but again, these vehicles have an unknown prior history and are NOT inspected by us prior to auction.
