OK, Mr Scout is looking for a new home. He has ben a part of our family since new and I have all the original documentation a normal person probably would not keep. Mr. Scout has been well maintained, but as with all of us, is getting older. Oil changes at 3,000 miles or every spring, transmission sevices every 30,000 miles. He has been in the garage for quite some time and needs a new adventure. Paint and bodywork are very nice, but has a couple of scars. He has never been a "4-Wheel" toy, but rather, more than a car. You know, "Anything else is just a car". He has won 1st place at Scout shows, and really is a joy to own. It just seems that at $100 to register plus the cost of insurance for about 300 miles a year is too much. He has been in a couple of accidents, but has been repaired by the best bodyshop I know of. He has the California smogged 45 c.i. engine and an automatic transmision. Gears are 3.73. His engine and transmission an differential have been rebuilt a couple of times, but everything is original. The carburettor is the original with the IH part number stamped on the body. His interior has been refrnished. He comes with the original line setting ticket, manuals, and all the NOS parts I have. Additionally, I will always be available to provide any information his new family may require. As you may realize, I would rather keep him as has always been a faithfull member of our family, but he is looking for a new adventure with a new famiy. 4/11: I forgot to mention the Air Conditioning works perfectly (for a Scout) with no leaks, the windshield washer, cruise control, deater and defroster are all working fine.
