The photos, I believe, did pretty good in describing the condition. It's a 1979 Volkswagon Westfalia full camper. If you are new to Ebay with 2 or less positive feedback, please me with your phone number. This vehicle was donated and I'm in charge of the liquidation. It was partially restored a few years ago. It is pretty much rust free. The normal places where rust show up in these vehicles, it's pretty good. Those areas will be at the bottom of the windshield. There might be a very minute amount of it if you look very very close. Where rust usually shows up at the bottom of the side panels, it's very good. I didn't know the bottom was a little muddy. We had some heavy rainstorm last few weeks and the storage area is not paved. There's a few scratches in the paint. The paint is pretty good overall though. The interior is in fairly good shape. The wood has some chips in the woodgrain and the upholstery is good overall. The pop top canvas is good other than that one are on the left side where dirt had accumulated, there's a small hole there. i don't know how perfectly or not the appliances work. Mechanically, Engine is very strong and smooth. It's easy to start and idles well. Clutch works fine and transmission seems to work fine also. There's no smoke or knock in the engine. Carpet is fairly good. Some of those rubber mats that are glued to the side of the bucket seats in the front has some peeling. It needs a new stereo, needs a spare tire. I just added a photo of the rear van, The hatch lock is missing. It does open and closes tightly. I have located a used replacement lock assembly. In case I forget, please remind me to provide it. New ones of those lock is not available anymore. At least that's what Vee Parts told me locally. Tires are very weathered, meaning they have cracks on the sidewalls. That would be the first item to replace. Brakes stops well. It has a clean title history. It has CA electronic title. For CA buyer, I will give you the transfer documents obtained from DMV and with that, you can get a new Ca title in your name. For out of state or foreign buyer, I will get a title in your name and your home address in your state. This will cost additional $150 to you. With that process, it might bypass the sales tax in your state. Will smog for CA buyer at additional $50. If it doesn't pass, you don't have to take the car. We don't run a "gotcha" type of business.
