Before you begin... Please contact if you have less than 6 feedback score for more information! Thanks. I am listing my own 1996 BMW 328i Convertible with about 97,000 miles. I purchased it about 3 to 4 months ago from the second owner, and have decided to sell it because it's not too practical with 3 kids, etc. I really don't want to sell it, and my kids definitely not, but reason has to overcome infatuation! Maybe later one I will buy another one as a second car use. The car that appears next to the BMW's photo is what I will be driving from now on.... Not as sexy but it's bigger, has 4 doors, and and it's automatic, and my wife like it too, in part because she can drive it! I purchased this car because I was impressed with its condition-the previous owners took very good care of it. It was also garaged for sometime while they lived in Dubai. I have all paperwork history, etc. This is a very nice running vehicle. It's very tight, drives straight, etc. Mechanically needs nothing, A/C works too. I just spent close to $1,500 on rear wheel bearings, new tires, new slave cylinder, and new rear shocks. It also has a new top. As the photos demonstrate, the car cosmetically looks petty good, still, the paint has blemishes here and there. Some I have retouched with factory touch up paint brush which I will include with the sale. It has some small dings here and there, but these are too difficult to show in images. Also, the hood is bit weak (see photo). The door panels, which are typical of this BMW production era, some sections are coming unglued, and/or the sun has shrunk the material. Nothing alarming, but I would recondition at some point. Another point, the engine light is on, and I took it to my mechanic and he said that it was just a sensor (oxygen) of sorts, but nothing that affects the BMW whatsoever. I will leave it to the new owner to fix. I have the part too. For those that don't know the difference between the 325i and the 328i engine; the 325i and 328i both have about the same power. Actually, the 328i has one more horse power. The difference is in the torque. The 328 has more torque at the right places, and therefore it's quicker and more fun to drive. Critics used to say that It was the best thing after the M3! eBay stopped offering complementary Auto Check since April 1st. Previous owner showed me Car Fax report for this car but I can't find it. I do remember that the car scored very high, and had no accidents, and everything else checked out fine, so I will leave it to the new owner to pull a record history for this vehicle if such desires it. To sum things up, this is a very nice Bimmer, and I can assure you that whomever wins it will be very happy with. Contact me with any questions and thanks for looking!!
