Just a driver...but a great candidate for paint. Bought car several years ago from a freind out in Indiana. Car never saw winter roads, it was and remains a summer toy. Was repainted in the 80's. No rust to speak of. One spot starting on passenger door. Evidence of cracking bondo on rear valence under trunk lid ( see pic). Body is straight and nice...but has it share of dings and scratches. Will need a top at some point soon, but this is an easy do it yurself project. I dont drive car when the top needs to be up, only use it to keep weather out when parked. Early style leather seats that are nice and soft. Recent work (within last year and half 1000 miles) new clutch kit, rear seal (precautionary while doing clutch), rebuilt front shocks (no more bouncing down road), and fixing of oil leaks (filter adapter and loose lines). Drives like an mgb should. Starts and runs great with weber carb....would and do drive anywhere. If your looking for a good driver for some spring and summer fun, that could be a great car with some cosmetic work, this is yours. Bought older pontiac convertible, so I could fit the kits, thats the only reason she's going. may consider trade for something cool....old pickup, aviation related items...try me.
