Late 1964 (known as 1964 1/2 but titled 1965) was when the first Mustangs were made and they are rare, hard to find and they tell me the year to have !! This car is in great shape and is a very tight and solid car ! It is NICE - DRY - SOLID car that was originally sold in California - Moved to Oregon in 2005 - then recently we bought the car and brought it to Idaho high mountain desert. It NEVER fails to turn heads and shows and runs very well indeed. I drove this BEAUTY for about two weeks as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I assure it runs and drives VERY WELL !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look and drive this car for yourself. You won't be disappointed !! IT IS A QAULITY CAR FOR SURE !!The vehicle has what we were told is the STRONG - ORIGINAL 260 CID V8 motor in it that runs out GREAT. Sounds good too with the "throaty" dual exhaust system with chrome tips. The engine is backed by a smooth C4 - three speed automatic transmission with the correct stock floor mounted shifter which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL - MOSTLY ORIGINAL - Code "26" - Black vinyl Interior is in nice shape and includes NICE ORIGINAL Black front bucket seats, NICE ORIGINAL center console, NICE ORIGINAL Black rear seat, NICE ORIGINAL matching Black door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black dash pad with NO CRACKS, VERY NICE gauge clusters including 120mph speedometer, VERY NICE period correct "Sun" aftermarket gauge cluster, VERY NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL Black headliner, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black sun visors and NICE ORIGINAL style Black carpeting. In my opinion this is about as NICE of a mostly ORIGINAL interior as you going to find on a 47 year old car, UNBELEIVABLE !! This is a sharp car ! All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are clear, bright, uncracked and still in NICE shape. This Mustang is quite a deal and you will be surprised at the low reserve. This Pony has outstanding looks and smooth power as well ! It is nicely equipped including FACTORY Power Steering, optional back up lights, good heater and deffroster, dual factory chrome exterior rear view mirrors, factory seat belts up front and a nice JVC digital AM FM stereo radio / cassette tape player . These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension is in nice working order as well as the electrical system. This Classic Mustang is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector Mustang. Yes it is a BEAUTIFUL 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Two Door Hardtop ! Late 1964 (known as 1964 1/2 but titled 1965) was when the first Mustangs were made and they are rare, hard to find and they tell me the year to have !! This car is in great shape and is a very tight and solid car ! It is NICE - DRY - SOLID car that was originally sold in California - Moved to Oregon in 2005 - then recently we bought the car and brought it to Idaho high mountain desert. It NEVER fails to turn heads and shows and runs very well indeed. I drove this BEAUTY for about two weeks as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I assure it runs and drives VERY WELL !! The vehicle has what we were told is the STRONG - ORIGINAL 260 CID V8 motor in it that runs out GREAT. Sounds good too with the "throaty" dual exhaust system with chrome tips. The engine is backed by a smooth C4 - three speed automatic transmission with the correct stock floor mounted shifter which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL - MOSTLY ORIGINAL - Code "26" - Black vinyl Interior is in nice shape and includes NICE ORIGINAL Black front bucket seats, NICE ORIGINAL center console, NICE ORIGINAL Black rear seat, NICE ORIGINAL matching Black door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black dash pad with NO CRACKS, VERY NICE gauge clusters including 120mph speedometer, VERY NICE period correct "Sun" aftermarket gauge cluster, VERY NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL Black headliner, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black sun visors and NICE ORIGINAL style Black carpeting.
