1970 Mercedes Benz 280SE Sedan. Fuel Injected straight 6 engine with automatic transmission. OFFERED AT A VERY LOW RESERVE This car has been in storage in my friends uncles garage since 1996. I ran when parked. It was parked awaiting a Chevrolet V8 conversion that never happened. My friends uncle owns many cars and has a large ranch so needless to say a few projects slipped threw the cracks. Now the property is being remodeled and time for some of the toys to go. This car is in very straight condition as for the body and interior. The body is straight as a pin with one rust spot on the hood as in the picture and one small rust bubble area between the rear passenger door and back window, the area on the trunk you see is a paint blemish not rust. The interior is very very clean as scene the carpets are nice and have been in the trunk for safe keeping, you will see the floor boards are solid as can be! Being sold for restoration or parts this car needs a good home and is a great platform for many avenues. The color combo is stunning and the interior needs almost no work at all minus cleaning! The paint would polish up and could be touched up to look nice on the hood. On a closing note this car was sold originally here in Monterey at Stahl Mercedes (the oldest dealership west of the Mississippi) and still has the original plates and plate frames on it. Also it has spent most of its life in Pebble Beach and Carmel Valley CA.. Just in case you were not sure, it will need to be towed.
