1970 VW Streetrod. This car was built with the 10-piece VW Streetrod Fiberglass Kit that retails for $2295.00 This kit includes Toueau cover, Rear body cap, a pair of front wheel well pans, a pair of rear wheel well pans, rocker panels, and a pair of door caps. Also From VW Streetrods the Complete Bolt-on Front Suspension kit, which sells for $3295.00? this includes new custom made front beam assembly, 4” tube dropped axle, kingpins, spindles, radius rods, disc brakes, bat wings, Aldan coil over shocks, radius rods, pan stiffeners, heim joints, steering dampener, panhard bar, steering arms, tie rod & drag link. So just in the two kits $5590.00 has been spent on this car without shipping or labor. The engine is a fresh Vern Bacon 1776 dual port engine that runs good. Paint and flames was applied late last year and has that combination of old school patina and the Hot Rod Flame job look. The Hollywood wheels really add to the look also. I have a Reserve that is lower than the two kits cost so it is like getting a free VW with buying the kits at a discount.
