Up for bids is this White on Blue 1990 Ford Crown Victoria Police Package. This Vehicle is equipped with the 5.0 L/302cu. V8 with Automatic overdrive transmission. It is a rust free Arizona car! This Crown Victoria started its life as a police patrol unit for a small southern Arizona Town, it was later handed down to the local College Police. This Crown Victoria was used as a Patrol unit and was driven by Officers and authorized School security guards only! Vehicle has 115,700 original miles, Car was retired due to age not milage! The engine purrs, I mean growls like new. This vehicle has a clear title! Police department has strict maintenance standards. The car is in good condition, was driven daily up until recently , it is now driven occasionally, would make a very dependable head turning daily driver, easy Police car restoration, or a great car for a small security company. It is equipped with velour cloth seating front and Vinyl rear, power windows, power mirrors, air-conditioning, Ford factory AM/FM stereo, tilt wheel, power trunk release and, of course, the full "Police Interceptor" package which includes the Fuel Injected 5.0-Liter engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, heavy-duty 8.8-inch rear axle, noise suppression bond straps, lateral bow (roof) reinforcement, police-spec factory, heavy-duty 15" X 7" police wheels with factory chrome police hubcaps, stainless-steel dual exhaust with factory crossover (H) pipe, special police-spec heavy-duty frame, heavy-duty front disc brakes, police suspension, certified 140-mph speedometer and much more. The engine runs as new and the transmission shifts excellent with no known problems whatsoever. It is very tight, and very strong. The brakes feel like new and there are no abnormal shakes, rattles, pulling or anything of that nature. It drives very smoothly and tightly. The heavy-duty police suspension makes this car handle like it is on rails. This unit is in good overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle of this age. This vehicle, as most used police vehicles do, will have imperfections...this typically includes; scratches, chips, nicks, dings (any major damage will be noted in the description such as large dents, etc.)...that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives very nicely. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used police vehicles possible, but they are still used police vehicles. This is a very nice driving, tight car...not a beat-up city car. These are the Crown Victorias afficianados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast and it actually gets phenomenal fuel mileage for such a large car with such a monstrous motor...I averaged approximately 20-24 miles per gallon on the highway. In overdrive, this car sails at 80-85 mph effortlessly due to the high rear axle ratio. VEHICLE EXTERIOR CONDITION The exterior condition of this vehicle is good! Vehicle has minor dings and scratches associated with fleet use. . Paint is faded and due to it’s department’s poor choice of decal removal(razor blade) it has a few scrape marks on the doors, fenders, quarter panels and trunk. The chrome still shines beautifully on this car. The front and rear bumper are in great condition. Grill and headlight areas are in great condition. Parking/turn signal lamp lenses are in great condition. Taillights are in excellent condition with Crown Victoria center crests still in place. Vehicle retains all four original Police “Dog Dish” hubcaps in good driver condition. A few curb scratches and dings! Vehicles tires are good but are dry rotted from the Arizona sun! Retains front license plate bracket. No tinted Windows. Vehicle has one police antenna on trunk lid. Vehicle has original AM/FM radio antenna on front passenger fender. Vehicle never had a spotlight. Vehicle has hole in roof from lightbar cable removal. Rear passenger side door has a dent, not very noticeable. VEHICLE INTERIOR CONDITION The blue interior of this Crown Victoria is in great condition, for a patrol unit. No rips or tears! This Crown Victoria has the original cloth split bench seats with vinyl rear seats in great condition. Some fading due to Arizona Sun. Rear vinyl seat has some scratches from handcuffs. Original factory carpet in good/fair condition. Torn on drivers side from police boots. Dashboard is cracked but does have a dash mat. Door panels are in great condition. Dashboard panels in good condition. Factory AM/FM radio. A/C buttons fall off the vehicles easy I have noticed. The police department got clever and installed a key ring in the place of the temperature control button and is more convenient than the original button. Vehicle retains all other factory A/C buttons. Car has NO holes in dash from police equipment. Overhead visors are good. Vehicle retains its original certified calibration 140 mph police speedometer. Headliner is in good condition. C pillars are in poor condition, will need reupholstry to be perfect. Steering wheel is in very poor condition some sun damage and peeling. VEHICLE ELECTRICAL CONDITION A/C works but does need a recharge. Heater works fine. Wipers work fine.( will need new blades) Vehicle is equipped with power windows all work fine. Horn works. Power mirrors work fine. Automatic headlight relay works fine. Hazard flasher works fine. Dash clock works fine. Power trunk release works fine. Switches for interior lights to come on when door opens were removed by Police Department for Officer safety. All interior lights work fine and can be turned on with headlight switch. All headlights, turn signals and other electrical components not all ready mentioned are working properly. VEHICLE MECHANICAL CONDITION This Ford Crown Victoria is equipped with the 5.0L/302cu. V8 engine with fuel injection and automatic overdrive transmission. Vehicle runs excellent, the engine purrs, I mean growls! Car hauls Booty! Engine Compartment is stock and clean. Vehicle odometer reads 115,700 miles, due to vehicles age,vehicle is excempt from milage reporting Transmission shifts smoothly. Vehicle needs Exhaust system from the H pipe on back. I was in the process of upgrading the exhaust system. Passes emmisions/Smog as is! Needs wheel alignment on the front wheels, I just replaced a tie rod on the right side. Has brand new Starter and relay, but the Starter needs to be shimmed, parts included in sale. The vehicle is located in Tucson, Arizona. You may fly into Tucson’s commercial airport and I may be able to assist with free transportation from the Tucson Airport to pick up the vehicle. Just ask! The vehicle can be stored free of charge for up to two weeks after full payment has been received. A $20.00 a day storage fee will be charged there after the two free weeks are up, until vehicle is picked up. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 dollars must be received by me within 24 hours of close of auction via money order, cashiers check sent over overnight express mail only, if you wish to pay the deposit via Pay Pal a $20 fee will be added to the total of the vehicle to cover Pay Pal fees! You must also make contact with me within the 24 hours close of auction. If the deposit does not arrive within the 24 hours close of auction or no contact is made, the purchaser has forfeited the purchase of my vehicle, by not following the terms and conditions of this auction and the vehicle will be relisted!
