This vehicle was NEVER WRECKED, as you can see in the history report provided to you in this ad, the two "accidents" reported were, in actuality, police reports - in other words, it was most likely due to a minor incident such as a light touch on the rear bumper during a traffic light, etc. These kinds of incidents are classified as "accidents" in the history report but in actuality, are far from an accident. This vehicle shows no signs of body work or paint work. The only reason we are willing to part with this fabulous vehicle for less than below book value is because the transmission may need to be replaced. The car runs and drives PERFECTLY and will most probably continue to do so for a good period of time but when we drove the car 2 days ago, it suddenly slowed down and all of the gear lights: "Park, Drive, Reverse, Neutral" lit up - this is known (in mechanic terminology) as "Limp Mode." We did consult a workshop and were told that these symptoms were a sign of the transmission acting up and were informed that it may need to be replaced soon. Rebuilt transmissions on this car go as high as $1,500 (feel free to check on eBay), but you can probably find something much cheaper at the local junkyard. We'd rather just take a big hit on the car than spend the 1,500 bucks in getting the transmission replaced. We are a wholesale dealer and rely on quick turnover to cover basic overhead expenses. If you or someone you know is knowledgeable in fixing cars, you might actually save money...We, unfortunately, have no friends that are in the mechanic business and would have to pay the full $1,500.
