This is a beautiful, clean, well-maintained example of the rare 1995 to 1998 911, known officially as the 993. The 993 was the last air cooled Porsche 911 ever built. This is a six-speed manual 993 Cabriolet, black on black. It has full leather and full power seats from the factory. All of the original tools, spare tire, air compressor, owner’s manual and spare keys are included. It has the original Becker CR-210 Cassette Radio. I also have a Becker CR-220 CD Radio, which I will include with the sale. It is “plug and play” swappable with the original and was a factory option at the time the car was new. I have owned this wonderful car since 1996, when I purchased it from an authorized Porsche dealer. I am a Porsche enthusiast with a high level of attention to care and detail on all of my vehicles. I have owned three 911’s and have been a PCA member for over ten years. I am also the original owner of my first Porsche, a 1980 911SC, which I proudly still drive. With the exception of a suspension upgrade, this 993 is 100% stock. During my ownership, it has never been raced, tracked or otherwise abused, and it has never been in a collision of any kind. It has been driven regularly in good conditions and always garaged and covered when not in use. I am a non-smoker, not a pet owner, and have been the only driver of this car since I purchased it. In addition to regular maintenance, this 993 has had the following work/upgrades performed since I purchased it: 40,000 MILES (approx.): 30K Service (included valve adjustment, spark plugs, brake pads, etc. – this was done by the dealer prior to purchase). 42,737 MILES: New Dunlop SP8000 tires mounted and balanced & four wheel alignment performed. 43,000 MILES (approx.): New factory mufflers & exhaust tips installed (the car had aftermarket exhaust installed when I purchased it, so I replaced it with the stock, factory system, brand new from Porsche). 43,557 MILES: New clutch master & slave cylinders installed. 43,967 MILES: New clutch & dual mass flywheel installed. 46,898 MILES: Bilstein PSS10 coilover suspension installed (ride height lowered by 25mm, fully user adjustable dampening). 47,303 MILES: New battery installed. I am not the original owner of this car, so in the interest of full disclosure, any information or representations made in this listing are strictly to the best of my knowledge and strictly and solely based on my ownership of this vehicle. In addition to normal wear for a vehicle of this age and mileage, I know of four visible cosmetic defects, which I have photographed and noted in the attached photos. They are:1) a hairline scratch just rear of the driver door (shown in photo and circled in red); 2) three small repairs to the convertible top which have been successfully sealed but are visible (shown in photos and circled in red); 3) slight road rash on the left rear wheel (shown in photo, just below the tire valve stem); 4) worn hood struts (I have and will supply new hood and deck lid struts to the buyer, but they are not installed).
