Vehicle Detail
This has been a great vehicle for many miles and with a little help can go many more. My son was driving it and it ran hot on him. I got the overheating issue taken care of but the engine doesn't sound so great any more. It will start up and run but is a bit noisy now. I'm not sure if it can be repaired easily or if it just needs to be replaced. I checked www.car-part.com and there are several hundred good used engines available across the country at very decent prices ranging from $750-$2000, mostly depending on mileage. Everything works with the exception of the a/c. As you can see by the photos there is some minor damage to the front end and I think the a/c condenser was damaged at that time since the air stopped working then. I have a good grille but it won't go back in untill the bumper is replaced. Here's a list of the body damage: front bumper and brackets, lower valance, a/c condenser, minor repair to both front fenders. I may be missing something minor but that's the bulk of it. The transmission shifts out great. The tires are okay, probably about 60% worn. The interior is in very decent condition with some staining as you can see in the pics. As I stated, this vehicle will start up and drive but I don't think it's going far without the engine being repaired or replaced. It WILL need to be towed or transported when picked up. I was looking at parting this 4Runner out over selling it but I just think it's still too good to part even though I could probably make more than my asking price if I did. I will accept a $500 PayPal deposit and require the remainder within one week of auction end.
