Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a very nice 1971 Ford F-250 Camper Special!! The original owner had passed away and it has been stored in his barn since 1995. It has 46,xxx orginal miles on the 360 cubic inch V8 motor. The vehicle has new rotors, calipers, and pads on the front wheels of the truck. It also has a new starter and alternator installed. The plugs, rotor, distributor, and points have been replaced and the carburator has been rebuilt as well. The truck runs very well and will do 75 mph down the highway. The tires on the vehicle are older and will need to be replaced. The paint on the truck looks very good for a 71, and with a good waxing it could really shine!! There is a minor blemish in the black part of the paint by the drivers side door, see picture. There are minor blemishes and dings, but this truck is a really good looking old collector. The wood trim and chrome are in good shape and very straight. There is a small rust spot along the top part of the chrome/wood trim going down the length of the truck on both sides, see picture. There is a small rust hole on the back side of the rear passenger fender, see picture. The interior of this truck is very good condition with all the original carpet and bench seat still in great shape!! The orginal padded roof on the interior does have some stains and wrinkles in the fabric, see picture. It has a rear sliding window, and the driver and passenger have the front angle wind catcher windows, which is a very nice feature. It has one of the biggest air conditioning head units on the motor that I have ever seen, but needs a belt, and probably a recharge. The bed has seen the usual farm use, and it does have some small rust holes up by the cab of the truck, see picture. I took pictures of the engine and under carriage. This is a very nice truck that runs good and is a great looking solid old truck. With a little work this could easily be a show truck, you be the judge and good luck bidding!! please email me with any additional questions or pictures. Your more than welcome to come and drive the truck and inspect the it for your self!! This truck is also for sale locally and the auction can be ended at anytime. Shipping can be talked about when the acution is ended, local pick-up is recommended. Thanks and good luck bidding!!
