I’m selling a 1974 MGB convertible project, that needs to be finished. This car is loaded with new parts. The body was completely professionally stripped to metal, and is rust free and straight, painted a jag ( mallard ) green. The bumpers are new with the original rubber chunks, new body side moulding. New alumin. threshold plates, front grill and rear chrome lic plate holder. The windshield is original, The bottom seal is new. All door glass seals are new. The top is original with no tears or rips. The original engine was completely rebuilt in 1996 and then put in storage, was rebored to .020 with new pins, connecting rods, crankshaft ground to: .010, new timing chain. Has original cylinder head , camshaft. The motor still needs work, runs a bit rough and the oil is a little murky, oil pressure is 75 lbs. Also new, flame thrower coil and distributor, radiator, fuel pump, stainless steel exhaust system is also new. The Carburetors were replaced with a weber32/36 DGV-MGB and the radiator and oil cooler lines are new. The Transmission is a 4 speed with overdrive, with a new solenoid valve kit, operation is still an unknown, not tested. Front and rear dampers are new. The rear leaf springs are original, may need new leafs, bushings are new. The steering rack is new and the boots are all new. New tie rods, All of the bushings are new. The car needs front end alignment. The Brake rotors are new and the calipers new, all brakes are new. The front wheel bearings are all new. The trunions are rebuilt. The cross member has all new bushings. Springs are new. The wheels are original with 4 new tires and a spare rim. The wiring harnesses are all original, also tail light lenses and turn signal lenses. The tach does’t work, might be a wiring issue under the hood. New vinyl autumn leaf seats, webbing and seat foam, molded black carpeting, LE style steering wheel, new autumn leaf door panels with speakers, needs a radio. New dash panel cover, The switches and heater all works. A great car to finish, moving and have two other MGB’s. Thanks
