Up for auction is an American racing legend - a REAL "G" Code 1970 Ford Mustang BOSS 302, with period correct and stamped "DOZ" replacement block engine, correct rolled under front fenders, and orginal 4 speed with Hurst shifter. Restored in 2007, this low mileage BOSS is in excellent condition. Has less than 64,000 original miles. Body has very good paint, with NO dents and NO rust. Interior is in great condition and very original. Powered by the legendary, high performance, 302 4V engine, this BOSS runs strong and is a blast to drive! With a 3.91 rear-end, this car is quick and very fast, but still well suited for longer distance highway driving. The BOSS is painted in a beautiful Wimbleton White that really shines. Paint is in great condition, with only a few very minor chips or scratches. Body is very straight, with no dents and no rust. Floor board and trunk solid and in very good shape. Interior is in very good condition. Dashboard was replaced in 2007, and front seats covers (and foam) were replaced last year with period correct black vinyl bucket seat covers. Both carpet and headliner are good condition, with only a small hole in headliner that has been repaired. All instructments work, including deluxe rim-blow steering wheel (horn). Windows in good condition and tinted. Very small scratch in front window from previous set of windshield wipers...very small scratch that is barely noticable. The 2007 restoration included rebuild of drive train, and new bushings and suspension. The car drives great and straight, and being a real racing legend, is very firm. The front disc brakes are in excellent condition, making for quick stops and a great deal of control. Car features original magnum 500 wheels, with newer BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. Both front and rear spoilers included, as well as rear window slates. Undercarriage is clean and in good condition. The chrome is in excellent condition and really shines! The engine and engine compartment are very clean. Engine starts easiler, runs very strong, and does not overheat or leak oil. The original 4 speed manual transmission is tight, close ratio, and shifts perfectly. With the 2007 restoration and recent updates, over $60,000 has been invested in this beautiful BOSS.
