*NO RESERVE AUCTION* Please email me questions before bidding.* '86 GTV6, 99,060 miles. Awesome California car, very good condition. Completely bone stock except for the Blaupunkt radio/CD. Well maintained, up to date service. 2 owner car. Drives great (fly in/drive home), everything works, no damage or rust except where noted (see pics also); -small dent on driver's side, near rear window (pic), -minor surface rust in engine compartment below brake cylinder, -minor surface rust spots on window trim metal, -steering wheel leather is dry rotting (perfectly useable), -some leather stitching coming undone. Recent work (within last 5k miles; -rebuilt steering rack, -castor bushings all around, -new rear engine mount, -timing belt replacement, -new front brake lines, -new driver's tie rod. Noteworthy details about this special car; all lights work (see pics), all gauges work (really), clock works, sunroof works perfect and smooth, NO 2nd gear crunch during shifting (!), A/C works/needs recharged, car was re-sprayed by original owner (in very good condition), wheel wells/arches are rust free. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a very clean, straight late model GTV6. They are extremely hard to find in this condition... not modified or personalized in anyway. But, it is not a perfect car, as I have described some of it's imperfections. It is the imperfections though, that also make this a rare car because there is nothing to hide. No nasty surprises or money pit scenarios! The issues can be resolved over the course of a few weekends and you can have a concourse quality car. The rust can be treated with POR 15 or similar. For a little money and time, you can have a concourse quality car. I would do it, but my 164LS is taking up all of my time! The other reason for selling is our second child is on the way and I just won't be able to appreciate this great car the way it should be. So I want it to go to a good home.
