Up for Auction is my 1977 Datsun 280Z. This was the top of the line; leather interior, 5 speed, AC. This car is my baby, it has been carefully maintained and restored to a beautiful condition. I am the 2nd owner. I purchased it in May of 2005 from the original owner in Virgina who purchased in Newport Datsun in Jan of '77. It had 103K miles on it when I bought it. I have only put 3K on it in almost 7 years! The following is some of what I have done to the car: Complete paint job; replaced all window seals (weatherstrips) ; done by my local body shop, matched the original color! Replaced Clutch, slave cylinder, dist cap, air filter, fuel filter, rotor, wires, plugs, alternator, fuel regulator, recharge AC system. Done by my local auto repair shop. Replaced armrest, shift boot, mahogany steering wheel and horn, all of the carpet, Koning Wheel and Tire Package (Yokohama 215/45R-17), new valve stems and lug nuts, mahogany shift knob Ignition switch All of the interior parts from Motorsports Auto in Orange, CA Power Antenna brake master cylinder Replace rear differential support bushings Replaced original radio with a Pioneer deck; CD player with MP3 attachment The good: The car runs great! By the miles you can see if doesn't get driven much. It has never seen snow and rain. It has been kept in the garage and covered. All of the gauges (except the clock) works great. The car shifts smoothly and hugs the road! I have the original wheels and tires, all go with the car. I also have a custom car cover. Please note that the mileage will vary slightly as it get driven by prospective buyers. The bad: Slight rust starting to show on the drivers side (see pictures) The clock and power antenna stop working last year. Small crack on the dashboard (see picture) Small crack in the driver's seat on the side The AC won't hold a charge The tail gate lock doesn’t work I have over 20K in this car. My reserve price is very conservative. I love this car but it doesn't get driven and quite honestly I need the garage space. Any questions, please email.
