I read several articles online that said the 1989 Toyota Celica GT was the best Celica ever made as the quality was extremely high, they handled very well and are very popular in racing circles. It also said that this year was the last year for the 4th generation Celica and was the year to have. What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! Yes it is a real head turner and shows very well ! It is getting almost impossible to find a '89 Toyota Celica GT Convertible in this kind of BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL CONDITION. It also comes with the original owners manual and original convertible top manual both shown in a picture below. I drove this BEAUTY as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I assure it runs and drives EXCELLENT as you would expect a pampered low mileage two owner car to drive. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension, front and rear seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. The ORIGINAL black power convertible top is still in good condition and goes up and down with ease with the push of a button as its supposed to. In the pictures you will see the ORIGINAL Black convertible tonneau cover which is also in great condition. I didn't secure it down fully as it was below freezing when I took these pictures and I didn't want to damage it. That is why the tonneau cover corners are sticking up in the pictures. This vehicle is in nice condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a great example of a sought after and hard to find vintage fourth generation Celica GT convertible for sure. This is a NICE - SOLID - DRY - southwestern Idaho - high mountain desert - western vehicle for its whole life and it has plenty of good looks to boot ! We prefer a bank to bank wire transfer as payment for the car but will also accept a bank cashiers check (US Only) or a third party check but we will verify the checks authenticity and the funds must clear our account before the vehicle is released to the buyer or the buyers agent.
