Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT Plus with 5.2L 318 CID V8 engine. Exterior is black with gold trim and the interior is tan with leather. This has been a great car for my family and we are only selling because we purchased another vehicle. This is a clean car from a non-smoking owner (just had it detailed a few days ago). I believe I am the third owner and I've had it for about a year and a half. We have really enjoyed driving this car and are sad to let it go. As you can see from the pictures, this Durango has the third row seating (a very nice feature). All the seats will fold up/down, so it make for a lot of cargo room if you need it. The wind shields are also a nice add on. People love the Durango style and it's a popular vehicle for a reason. I have put quite a bit of money in to this and it's important to know, so here's a list: Radiator replaced 1/2011 A/C evaporator replaced and system charged 4/2011 Thermostat replaced and transmission serviced 9/2011 Steering rack/pinion and pump replaced 10/2011 Rear tires replaced and alignment 2/2012 (front tires 8/2011) Oil changes and maintenance performed routinely I have had great experience buying and selling with eBay and I find the best way to sell is to list everything I can possibly think of that still needs addressing. With that said, here is a list of thing's I'd want to know if I were buying it: Car creaks when going over bumps due to front bushings being worn out (this is a typical issue for Durangos). Was told that if I was going to go to the trouble of having that replaced, might as well replace the ball joints as well. Front driver seat moves slightly on it's track (another common issue). This happened when I bought the car and I was able to fix it in about 3 hours and $2 worth of parts. It's time to do it again since they wear out over time. Will advise new owner how to take care of it. Transmission used to have delayed shifting (when cold), but issue cleared up once I had it serviced in 9/2011. This car has obviously been in a previous accident (prior to my ownership). If you look closely at the front bumper, you can see the slight shift toward the passenger side (also has a missing fog light). The driver door I believe has been replaced (leaks a very small amount occassionally). Also, the driver door lock cylinder has fallen inside the door (needs to be resecured). Along with that, the inside driver handle works, but needs a new spring (door will not latch if handle not pushed down). Radio/CD player works fine, but 3 of the 4 speakers do not work. I think it is only a connection issue and just in case it's the speakers, I have included a new pair that come with the car. Front driver seat leather is tearing near bottom (see picture). Front bumper and grill could use repainting (see chips & paint flaking in picture). I believe the car may be burning oil slightly. I haven't confirmed this, but have just noticed from the oil level. No other issues (exhaust, etc). Glove compartment handle not working (zip tie attached to latch for opening). This is all I can think of right now. If you have any other questions, please send me a message. I will also post anything else that comes to mind. Good luck and happy bidding! On Mar-22-12 at 07:21:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a couple more things that I thought of... Passenger window is off its track and will not roll down. Motor works fine, just needs to be put back on track. Also, in regards to the oil comment above...good news. It's been parked for a couple days and I noticed a small oil leak on my driveway. I remembered that when I had the oil changed a few times ago, they told me about a small leak around the pan. I believe they said it needs is a new gasket. This explains my oil level changes and is better than it burning oil! Please send any questions!
