Up for your bids today is my 1969 Buick Riviera 2 door hardtop. This car had sat quite awhile in the sun and so the interior is sunbeaten but complete. The seats will need redone as well as carpet and headliner. The engine is the 430 c.i. sporting 360 H.P. with an automatic transmission on the column putting the power to the ground. This car has every piece of moulding and trim except for one letter "A" from riviera on the drivers fender. Options are A/C, power windows, power locks, power seat, tilt steering. Has the original radio in place. There are no road wheels included. The tires hold air and have decent tread but are weather checked. It will load easily onto a trailer with winch or rollback truck. The brakes work fine. The engine will run for a few seconds when I put fuel down the carburetor. The original gas tank is out of the car but goes with the car. I have the original tank straps for it. I don't know if the mileage is original or not. There is no title for the car as I got it on a bill of sale only. It has been inspected by the Delta City Police Department and run through the DMV system and is clear. It can be easily titled. I towed the car down a highway to get it home when I purchased it and it steered perfectly and stopped easily. There were no rearend noises, grinding, noises, etc. Needs a paint job, a windshield, and a new vinyl roof installed. The left tail light lens is broken but I have 2 complete very nice and original light/lens assemblies that go with the car so you will actually have a spare one! All of the door and rear glass is very good. I couldn't get the window switches to work so there may be a blown fuse.The only damage is a scrape on the drivers door as shown in picture #5 that is readily fixable and a very small ding in the right rear quarter close to the bumper that is so small it likely doesn't show in a picture. There is a small app. 3 inch long cut in the spare tire well inside the trunk that needs welded and ground down. There is no rust in the trunk or around the windshield or back glass areas. The only rust I can see is a small area just inside the right front wheel opening where the rocker moulding meets the wheel opening (picture #7), about a 4 inch square patch behind the right rear wheel in the very bottom of the quarter (picture #6), and it looks like there is some in the drivers side floor pan. I didn't pull the carpet up to check but the carpet needs replaced due to a couple of good sized holes in it and some stains. I know the windshield wipers work, the heater motor works, and the headlights illuminate. I don't know if the actuators work for the headlights or not as they work off engine vacuum and I haven't had the engine running long enough to build up the neccessary vacuum. The A/C compressor spins freely and isn't locked up. The original and complete jack assembly is in the trunk. I did a fresh oil and filter change.This is a no reserve auction.
