Spring is coming! Up for sale is my 1997 Porsche 993 Targa. It is a six speed manual, finished in guards red over black leather. It has a factory installed aerokit package including front splitters, side skirts, and rear wing. New Sumitomo HTRZ tires with less than 3k on them. I am the third owner of this car, and it was originally a Florida car - it has never seen snow or salty roads and the undercarriage and body are in very clean condition. It has a clean carfax history, and I have all receipts since 2003. It has a documented top end rebuild at 46k due to the infamous secondary air injection check engine light issue - entire top end was rebuilt including complete valve job. It burns very little oil between changes - I have never had to top off the oil. At the same time as the top end was done, the clutch was replaced, and the steering rack was replaced - both possible weak links that have now been addressed. Bilstein HD shocks and the full M030 european suspension package were installed in Feb 2008, including 4 wheel alignment and corner balancing. RS short shift kit installed 2/2009. Targa top and sunscreen work fine. Mechanically the car is a 10, cosmetically it is a 8.5. Front end shows normal rock chips for a 75k car, and the bottoms of both front splitters have road rash as shown in pictures. Original Speedline targa wheels were refinished in 2008, but could use touch up. Stereo upgraded to Porsche branded Becker TrafficPro, which gained ipod connectivity. I do not have the traffic disc for it, and do not know if the nav portion functions - never used it. Hardwired for Valentine One radar detector, but detector not included. Known issues: mirror switch not working (connector from switch to wiring harness intermittent), speaker housing on drivers door a bit loose, and one tiny hole in drivers side seat bolster - barely noticeable.
