Please NOTE! This car is NOT PERFECT The gas guage doe's not work, the speedometer is about 10 miles off and the passenger side window is hard to roll up. Other than that the car runs' good , looks good and ride's good.My mechanic who has 35 years experience (only work's on street rods and dragsters)can not find anything to fix. I don't know a lot about car's .But I will do my best to describe it The body is original ford steel the fenders and trunk lid are fiberglass (I can not find any rust on the body). The motor is a 65-66 Ford 289 with a new Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and manifold. had new sparkplug wires installed and new battery Tilt steering wheel ,all lights work ,temp & voltage gauges work The transmission is a ford C-4 automatic (was just professionally rebuilt )and had a new Hurst shifter installed The steering is a mustang rack & pinion , (it was loose so I had a new one installed) The suspension has all kinds of brackets on it and the shocks have coil springs over them.the car was lowered I don't know how much. I had a new aluminum 15 gal. gas tank installed the car never overheats as long as the cooling fan is turned on The tires are in excellent shape,back rims are 15" and fronts are 14" the rim's are not that good looking so I put on full moon hubcaps (has that 50's look) How fast is it ? I have no problem going 75 mph (thats when I chicken out) don't know how fast it will go I know I had more pedal left The paint looks very nice just a few nick's I know what you are thinking if it is so nice why is he selling it? to make room in the garage for the next one , I have more fun working on them than driving them.
