Gold 1997 Saturn SL2 with a standard transmission. This is an original owner vehicle that has been well maintained and serviced regularly. I purchased a replacement vehicle and the Saturn has been parked since January, 2012. Prior to that the vehicle was primarily a weekend driver. Everything works as its supposed to. As you can see the original paint is still shiny and looks presentable Vehicle was rust proofed a few years ago and has no body rust. The A/C works and blows cold. This vehicle has never been involved in an accident, though the front passenger bumper was scuffed in a parking lot and has been repainted with “almost” matching paint (see last picture). Vehicle comes with 4 winter tires (2 almost new – 2 used but lots of winter life) and 4 summer tires (acceptable) on original Saturn alloy rims. Within the past year the vehicle has received a new head gasket, muffler and a new JVC stereo (with proper mounting brackets) with 4 new aftermarket speakers. 2 years ago the struts and mounts were replaced, clutch was replaced, and 2 new Michelin X-Ice winter tires were mounted in the front. Mechanically the car starts every time, and has no abnormal squeeks or rattles. Tranny shifts smooth and the car does not pull t and drives straight. Oil was changed regularly and the engine runs quitly and strong. This car has served my family very well for years and it was well taken care of during that time. Vehicle runs great and has never had any major mechanical problems. It still has many great years ahead of it, however I just don’t have a parking space for it. They are original Saturn alloy rims and the center caps are all there, The 4 rims are about equal in appearance, and are not not warped, two of the tires have have just less than 50 % tread left and the other 2 are probably good for one season. On 17-Mar-12 at 11:17:14 EDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that there are 2 working remotes that are Saturn original, therefore they trigger the alarm security system, which works just fine. I also included pictures of the parts that will be included , rear brakes, passanger mirror, blower motor, 2 oil filters, original 9005 bulbs (replaced with brighter long time ago), serpentine belt, etc Plus I have other stuff not on pictures - like window motor, used fuel injectors, used ignition coils, plus other stuff that I took off a damaged 97. Note to US bidders, I trust that you are aware that the car is located in Toronto, Canada. Please be prepared to make arrangements to transport the vehicle across the border from its present location. The car is currently plated but the plates will be removed upon transaction completion in Toronto. I will not make arrangements to drive the car across the border.
