The 164 cubic inch 6 cylinder air coded engine has been completely rebuilt including a roller/rocker valve train with performance cam. Engine is the 140 horsepower version with four professionally rebuilt carburetors. Ignition has been upgraded to an Electronic System, an Electric Fuel Pump added, Ceramic coated exhaust Headers with chrome low restriction mufflers. Body has no rust and has been repainted with base coat/clear coat in the original Nantucket blue color. Chrome bumpers are in good condition all lights and lenses are new and in working order. Wheels are American Racing alloys with 7/10 inch tread BF Goodrich T/A radials. All the glass is clear with no cracks, interior has new Door Panels, Carpet, Seat Covers and Headliner. Instrument cluster has a Tachometer and a complete set of engine Gauges have been added which includes cylinder head temperatures. The brake system has been rebuilt with all new Wheel Cylinders and Brake Shoes, all Wheel Bearings are new as are the Shocks. The steering has been replaced with a modern rack & pinion unit which necessitated replacing the factory fuel tank with a fuel cell unit (see pictures) under the hood. Radio needs speakers installed, there is no back seat and the heater unit is missing. One small ding on right rear fender. This Corvair has had every system gone through and there is over $12,000 in receipts for parts alone. With the car is a set of Corvair manuals and spare parts.
