I am the orginal owner of this motorcycle and have taken meticulous care of it. I purchased it new from BMW dealer in Virginia. I have serviced it on a regular basis and garaged it on concrete floor year round. It is in excellent condition and runs perfect. I replaced the rear shocks but with this exception all other parts and equipment is the factory orginial. The carburetors were recently cleaned and rebuilt. It has a new battery, filters, plugs and all fresh fluids. The gauges and lights are in perfect working condition. It has minor cosmetic scratches on tank and the fairing from normal use. I am not able to ride anymore due to a health issue and the bike was not ridden for several years. During this time the fuel tank developed a pin-hole leak. I flushed tank and used tank sealant. It currently has no types of leaks of any kind. You can park this bike in your living room. Included with this bike: Orginal Luftmeister touring fairing & cafe sport racing fairing. Krauser touring bags with orginal keys. Orginal tool kit with all tools intact. Orginal owners manual. I also have a complete service manual which has detailed information on most all aspects of this motorcycle. I have 2 sets of keys for ignition, seat, tank and bags. The steering lock does not work. The bike is located in my home in Las Vegas were it has been for the past 25 years. The bike has no rust due to this extremely dry climate. The bike is ready to ride back to your home. The tires are in good condition but before taking cross country trip I would recommend new tires. Vegas has an excellent BMW dealership that can help with new tires.
