Up for sale is my 1997 Lincoln Town Car Signature with the rare Touring package. This car was passed down to me by a family member. It is finished in Cordovan Clearcoat Metallic with Prarie Tan leather seats. It has almost every option you could get in 1997! The MSRP was $46,020! It has 85,000 very well kept miles (I have all the service records to prove it). If you are looking for a well kept Town Car with rare options that you can drive anywhere with peace of mind, then keep on reading. This Town Car has the following options: Touring Package Ride Control Package Power Moonroof Traction control Steering assist JBL Audio with DSB, Cassette, and CD changer Heated Seats Voice activated Cell Phone 16 inch aluminum wheels Onto the pictures! Mechanical:The Town Car is in great shape mechanically. There are no fluid leaks or abnormal noises. The engine runs great and transmission shifts smoothly. All fluids have been changed in the last year. Pads/Rotors are less than 10,000 miles old. Alternator and serpentine belt have been changed in the last 2 years. It has new shocks all around; the rear air suspension was converted to a passive shock system, similar to the P71 Crown Victoria. There are no warning lights or codes. It has new 225/60/16 Mastercraft white wall tires. Electrical:All the power windows, door locks, heated seats, stereo, CD changer, moonroof, etc work 100%. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heat works great. The power trunk pull down also works great. The onboard computer works 100%. Even the analog cell phone powers up!Exterior:This is the only major flaw with the Town Car. As with most older dark Ford colors, this Town Car has clear coat peeling on the driver's front fender, roof, and rear bumper. The sides, hood, and trunk look great. The aluminum wheels are in good shape with minor wear. There are scratches and dents as to be expected with a vehicle of this age. It still looks very presentable and I was quoted $800 to paint the affected areas. No rust whatsoever!Interior:This is the best part in my opinion. The interior is in fantastic shape for the age. Leather is still soft and without major wear. No tears or scratches. Dash pads, door panels, carpet, headliner are all in great shape. I have most of the service records in a thick file. I also have the original sticker price (MSRP of $46,020), the owners manuals, TWO keyless entry remotes, and THREE keys. Try finding another vehicle this age with all of this! I even have the keypad code!KBB value is $4,400 - $6,800. These cars are hard to find with these options, low mileage and in good mechanical shape. With a paint job, it will be perfect.Why am I selling it? I have too many cars, 9 to be exact. I hope it goes to a good home who will appreciate what this car is. They do not make them like this anymore. The 4.6 liter V8 gets decent gas mileage too! This is a NO RESERVE auction. What does this mean? It means the highest bidder will win the car.
