Vehicle Detail
Read entire description before bidding. Thank you. I have for sale, one of my personal bikes that I have owned for 10+ years. It has always been well maintained. Changed oil regularly, always kept in the garage when not riding it. The candy paint is 2 years old and still looks like it did the day it was painted. No chips, no scratches. Side covers are in perfect condition also. Never been broken or repaired. I just installed a brand new drive chain also. Not pictured, but am in the process of installing a 40 tooth sprocket so you can cruze the freeway at a decent rpm. Fuel tank is clean inside. Bike has all new cables clutch, throttles, Tach cable is not original but in good shape. I have just given the carbs a fresh, completely disassembled cleaning and have been synchronized with vacume gauges. The engine is a 1976 with 12,346mi. on it. The original was used on a chopper build in 2004. Speedo and tach guages have been replaced with some from a newer bike.(year unknown) Front fender is brand new with no damage. Rear fender is in great shape, no dings or dents, no pitting. Front tire is brand new 0 miles. Rear tire is used but lots of tread left on it. Seat is a recover on original pan. Front brake caliper has recently been rebuilt but I forgot to paint it. Rear brake shoes are new also. There are no rusty spokes on either wheel. Both wheels are straight and true. Bike has 1981 cb coils and after market plug wires. This bike is electric or kick start. Starter works as it should, not worn out. There are brand new air pods on the carbs. Intake boot clamps have been replaced with stainless steel ones from Jeg's. I have also installed a New Dyna S ignition. No more screwing with points and condensers. I have installed an after market push button starter switch up by the key switch. It is not pictured because it was not installed at the time pics were taken. Rear shocks are 11" shortys. Engine has new oil and filter. I have also mounted a left hand mirror since pics were taken. Headlight is a 5-3/4 bates style with a toggle switch for high beam mounted in top of the headlight housing. Exhaust is solid, with baffles but sounds great, not like most of those after market exhaust. It also has original smooth Santee exhaust clamps. Not flimsy like those ones Cycle-X sells. The lower front shock towers are chrome in great condition, no pits or chips or scratches. Some of the pics don't show the true color of this candy paint. This bike is ready to ride anywhere with no worries what so ever. There are no turn signals on this bike but all connections to add them are still intact. I will throw in the blinkers for this bike and a stock set of bars that still have the switches still on them. I changed my mind on the location of the starter button. It's under the fuel tank mounted to one of the stock air breather box tabs. Thanks for looking. If I've forgotten anything just ask. No single digit bidders. Your bid will be canceled and you will be blocked from bidding again. Sorry. Get a buddy to bid for you. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. Other wise it is pick up only. If winning bidder want's to fly in and ride this bike home I will pick you up at the airport for free. I added a pic of the new sprocket mounted on the rear wheel.
