Up for auction is a 97 Stepside F150 4wd, V/6. I am listing as a project because I purchased it condition unknown and began to fix up. It needs a battery right off the bat. It starts right up and runs and idles. The transmission shifts and does not slip, the 4wd enaged and appears to also work. I only drove it around the block because it has no brakes. I tried the 4wd in the field next to my property. I put new pads, calipers and rotors on the front and a new drum on the back. That is as far as I got with it. The brakes still neede to be bled. The tires are fair to good. The passenger door has a dent and the passenger rocker has a dent.that is not structuruarl. The odometer has 170k on it. The guy I bought it from says a Jasper engine was out in about 20k ago. I have no way to prove it. The running board on the passenger side is missing. The truck bed is in good condition. I think the truck can be easily put back on the road. I am expressing no warranty with this vehicle. Good luck.
