This listing is a drug seizure by the Frederick County Narcotics Task Force. It is being sold for LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. The vehicle is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTIES!! The vehicle was seized as part of a drug arrest in March of 2009 and has been sitting in an impound lot ever since. At the time of the arrest, the owner was driving the vehicle and it appeared to run fine. It appeared to have been used as a painter’s vehicle judging from the items found in the van. It has an open area in the rear. The rear of the van has plenty of space for storage and can hold large items. Van is perfect for a handyman or painting service. There is a divider separating the driver compartment from the rear of the van. The van has access doors on the rear and passenger side. There is a small shelf rack on the passenger side of the van to hold tools. There is also a speaker in the rear compartment of the van. The van is a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with 110,323 miles on it. It has air conditioning and manual windows. The tires are Eldorado Sport Tours and have a good amount of tread left on them. There is 9 feet of space in the back area of the van before the divider to the seats. The van DOES NOT START and will definitely need a new battery. It appears to also need a new alternator and possibly a new fuel pump. It ran when we seized it but sitting for 3 years has taken its toll on the van. Cosmetically, the front bumper has scrapes on both the passenger side and the driver side. The front passenger side has some paint bubbling by the door. There is a fairly large area of scratches by the gas tank on the driver’s side, along with a dent on the side door into the back of the van. Both seats have tears in them. The cloth above the drivers area is loose. (See pictures for these). The interior of the van appears as though it was used as a work van with numerous small scratches dents and paint spills.
