This vehicle is currently not in running condition. I'm pretty sure the timing just needs to be set properly in order for it to run and start up. It was running ok before I replaced the head gaskets and other gaskets when I last worked on it. I no longer have the time to work on it due to my present work load. The vehicle is in very nice cosmetic condition (both interior and exterior), it just needs someone who's handy working on cars to finish a few repairs. Miles are extremely low for 1998! Items that have been repaired or replaced since I've owned: (approx. 1 year of ownership) -Total transmission rebuild at licensed transmission repair facility. (with-in last 6 months) -Replaced spark plug coil, plugs & drivers side plug wires. -Replaced crankshaft sensor and cam sensor. -Replaced both head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, water pump gasket, thermostat gasket and oil cooler gasket and other misc. gaskets. -Replaced neutral safety switch. -Replaced Mass air flow sensor Items needing repair/replacement: -Properly set timing per vehicle specs -Re-attach coolant line/hose that currently leaks when anti-freeze is added. (Must have detached when I was replacing head gaskets) -I believe the auxillary water pump needs replacement.(heater stopped working) -Should replace coolant bridge hardware to make sure no leaks are present -Should replace serpentine (fan) belt. (Looking worn) & plastic timing belt/gear cover (damaged during removal) -Trouble shoot back-up lights located in taillights. The back-up lights running across the trunk do work. -Trouble shoot the front passenger side door lock. Stuck in unlock position currently and unable to lock. -May need front brake pads per instrument communication center. (No noise or grinding presently, but the instrument light recently came on.) -Front tie rods probably need replacement, based on front tire wear and feel of vehicle when going over bumpy terrain. As mentioned previously, this is a great purchase for someone who has a little time and is handy working on cars. There's a lot of life left in this vehicle, due to the new transmission, low miles, parts previously replaced and great over-all condition. I've tried to be as thorough as possible regarding items I've repaired and items still needing work. When you know what the issues are, it's a lot easier to get them done! I also have a few extra parts that I'll throw in the sale, so you have a few spare parts as well. If she doesn't sell, I'll take my time and finish the work myself and keep as an extra vehicle. I'm listing because I could use the cash and would like to have my garage back. It's been in the garage only for the last few months. I'll be adding pics later on today. Thanks for looking!
