I purchased this rare and classic vehicle from an exotic car dealership, Auto Europe (dealer of Lotus, Morgans) located in Birmingham, Michigan. The dealer put extensive time and money into repairing and upgrading prior to sale, and it shows! Complete rebuild of transmission, brakes, total tune up, new factory correct tires, new windshield, door seals etc. all in 2010. Since April of 2010, I've put less than 6000 miles on the vehicle for a total of 73,505 (see pictures). It’s a quick starting, clean running beast that is as adept at traversing the dunes of Island Beach State Park, to kicking it on the Garden State Parkway at 80mph all in the same day without a moments concern. Since my purchase, I've had a no issues at all other than the cooling system that was acting up, and under the recommendation of Monmouth Land Rover in Ocean NJ, I've replaced several hoses along with a new radiator. I should mention that Monmouth Land Rover is a certified dealership and that only a master tech from their service department worked on the Rover 110. Also featured is New Pioneer AM/FM/CD/Sirius/ Radio with Ipod/Iphone direct connect along with "hands free" feature.The entire truck has been inspected and the oil has just been changed. The Rover is ready to go. To date, ALL systems on the Rover are in working order. I must mention the condition of the body due to the history of Defenders in general and 110's specifically. There is no body rot at all on the vehicle. The vehicle does have some minor surface imperfections on the paint and light surface rust on the undercarriage. (See pictures) The Title to this Rover 110 is Clean. Please rest assured that this is NOT a grey market truck. See the Vin # within this listing. If I were keeping the Rover, I would be purchasing a new muffler for it, the existing one is the original and is showing signs of corrosion, but in no way does the existing one impede the operation or enjoyment of driving this true all wheel drive icon.
