24 Valve Cummins Turbo Diesel, 4x4, SLT Laramie with original tan leather, Everything works - pwr windows,locks,pwr seat,cruise,cd. I've owned the truck for about 1 year and I've put about 10k miles on it. When I bought it the truck was completely stock and had the factory ugly aluminum rims. I installed GEAR black rims and used Nitto Terra Grappler Tires 20", I've intalled a levelling kit and an add a leaf to rear leaf springs to level the whole truck out. There is factory heavy duty coil springs in front. The four shocks were replaced and I intalled true fat dual exhaust with the tips extending out behind the rear wheels. It has a spray in bed liner. I bought the truck from a guy that used it for business only. He had a pipe rack on it which he kept. Truck has never been used off road ! ! ! The exterior is green with a silver bottom. Leather is original and has had the front seat cover on it forever. Truck runs exceptionally good - doesn't overheat,oil pressure is great, a/c is cold and has never been topped off with freon. Drivetrain is quiet and does all it's supposed to do. Negatives - There is two rust bubbles in paint on the front left fender on the edge. There is a foot long scratch on left side on quad door. There is a 8'' scratch on the roof. Some misc scratches on the body but very minor. The bottom body edge on the silver has some paint peeling on very edges. The rear sliding window has a piece of the window missing and its been replaced by the past owner with a piece of plexiglass. It's sealed but should be replaced with a full single window or a replacement sliding window. Undercarriage is nice and clean. Small power steering leak but I've only topped it off twice in a year so real slow leak. Doesn't leak any other fluids. Past owner had ball joints and bushings replaced around 80k miles. Tires are definately poor. I bought them used and they don't leak but tread is real low. Transmission is original and shifts through all gears but I let off accelerator between second to third and third to fourth. Stays consistent and I've had it checked out and I'm told it's typical for old Dodge automatics behind Cummins. It has never skipped or slipped any gear changes. The turbo boost is turned up and restrictions were removed so I don't know if that affects it? If I kept it - I was considering an ATS transmission but I was going to do it if it failed and it never has. When I say I let off accelerator - I mean real slight. Some drivers might not notice but just describing accurately so theres no surprises. I'm around alot of trucks and I've been real picky with description. This truck blows away most for condition. You'll be very hard pressed to find a 1998 in this condition. It grabs looks from everyone ! I want a dually Dodge or Ford so that's reason for selling. I'm a Ford 7.3 loyal enthusiast but this Cummins has converted me! Fuel mileage is great. It doesn't and has never had a programmer installed. Only aftermarket stuff is air intake and exhaust. I don't know how anyone could be unhappy with this truck. The additions I did are not extreme so it hasn't had the typical hard life most have had. I WILL NOT DISCLOSE RESERVE !
