I am listing this 1999 BMW M3 with about 118,000 for a gentleman in Bradenton Florida, Rick Derringer, yes the talent behind the "Hang On Sloopy" hit song among others. I had the privilege to meet him, and I have to say that he's a very cool person! Now about the M3... He purchased this bimmer about two year ago as a second vehicle for his wife but she hardly uses it anymore so he decided to let it go to another home. This M3 is factory lowered, and it is in pretty good condition. It runs very well, it's tight, and drives like it should. The tires are like new, the car has always been well maintained, and mechanically needs nothing; however, although the engine light is on, I was told to ignore it because of some electronic glitch of sorts. Cosmetically is pretty good too. There's a tiny ding on the front of the hood (see photo), and may have some blemisher here and there, but as the images demonstrate, it's very nice. Rick told me that the car came without a rear spoiler because some M3 "aficionados" prefer them that way. Also, the car has no fog lights. He purchased the car without them, and told me that the previous owner had them but never got around to claim them, etc. Other than these small issues I feel that this M3 should bring joy to whomever wins it. One more thing... Rick expressed that he will be happy to sign the vehicle if the new owner desires it. Let me know if you need other info other than what was expressed above, and thanks for looking!
