1983 BMW 733i 5-Speed Purchased in 2000 with 117,xxx miles Many new parts since 2000: Suspension: H & R lowering springs, Bilstein shocks/struts, new rear sway bar, new front sway bar bushings and mounts, new tie rods, center link, track arms, rear dogbones, new subframe bushings, new front wheel bearings, remanufactured steering box, new pittman arm Brakes: Rebuilt front calipers, new rotors (front and rear), stainless steel brake lines, new master cylinder, new power booster and accumulator Engine: Cylinder head reconditioned in 2011, along with new timing chain and tensioner. New oil pan gasket. No leaks. Updated oil spray bar bolts. New distributor, spark plugs (2011), Jacobs coil, new injector O-rings, new O2 sensor, new battery (2009), Jet Hot coated valve cover, new hydraulic engine mounts (2011), new auxiliary fuel pump, new engine fuel lines and fuel pressure regulator Cooling system: New radiator, new hoses/belts, new heater core (2006), new water pump, new fan clutch (2009) Clutch: New slave cylinder, new clutch master cylinder Driveline: New center flex disk, new output shaft seal (2011), new differential mount Exhaust: Jet Hot coated exhaust manifold, stainless steel catalytic converter, new resonator and muffler Interior: New front and read windshield, new SI board for instrument cluster, new HVAC pushbutton and thumbwheel control boards, recovered dash board, steering wheel recovered in leather Wheels: 225/50HR16" tires on Alessio Monza rims. Tires have less than 7000 miles on them. Exterior: Car was repainted factory metallic gray color in 2004. All exterior seals were replaced and all the aluminum trim was painted in shadowline black trim. Windows were tinted. Bumper and mirrors are color-keyed with the body color. Interior is in good condition, and while the heater core was replaced in 2006, the dash was sent to Just Dashes to be recovered with modern vinyl that won't crack and split like OEM. Looks new with no cracks. In order to replace heater core, had to have A/C system exacuated of R12. Air conditioning did work at the time, just never got it recharged. Sunroof works, along with all windows and on-board computer. The only gauge that does not work is the analog fuel economy gauge under the tach. Cruise control also works. Low beams updated to Hella H4 lamps. Car looks new on the outside; no dents or scratches. Drives good, no leaks, shifts fine, no whine from the differential, doesn't overheat, etc. A lot of money was spend to restore this car, and for it to look as good as it does. Never been wrecked; all body panels original. All fluids have been changed regularly along with the various filters (oil, fuel and power steering).
