History: This car has been owned by a handful of BMW enthusiasts. It has been very well cared for and has several great upgrades. This is a great opportunity to get into an early e30 M3. Exterior: This car still has most of its original paint. This car does not have any rust and is a solid chassis. This car has all of its original panels and VIN stickers attached. The hood appears to have been replaced. The paint is in good shape, but does show some blemishes and slight fading on the front bumper and spoiler. The windows, sunroof and doors all work great as they did from the factory. It has its original BBS basket weave wheels, but the center caps are missing. This car has rather worn tires and would recommend replacing them prior to a long drive. This car has European Ellipsoid headlights and European grills. It has EVO hood seals, bumper seals and bumper trim. This car has an alarm with keyless entry. Interior: This car had a grey leather interior. It still retains its original steering wheel, dash, headliners, visors, carpets and rear seats. The front seats have been upgraded to Sparco Torino 2. They are in good shape and very comfortable. It has a Z3 short shifter. The stereo is a JVC Kameleon head unit and amp in the rear, however it appears it is not hooked up correctly. Engine/Transmission. This car still has its original M3 Engine. It starts right up and sounds great! It has a Racing Dynamics DME chip and EVO air box. It also has a Borla muffler which gives this car a great tone. The motor was professionally rebuilt at 155,000. The pistons were re-ringed, it has a Turner Motorsport oil pan baffle, new main bearings, rods bearings, oil pump, timing chain components with e36 M3 tensioner upgrade, 3 angle valve job, and all gaskets top to bottom This engine is a solid strong running motor. This car has its original 5spd transmission that the syncros are getting are weak in 4th gear. This car has a sport clutch. Although this car has had a rebuilt engine, it appears it may be time for another one as the rings are starting to show some signs of wear. Suspension: This car has a very nice comfortable suspension. It has new power steering hoses and the steering is excellent in this car. It has new Bilstien shocks with Suspension Technique springs. It has new control arms, rear subframe bushings and control arm bushings. This car has EVO cross drilled rotors. What the car needs. Although this car is a solid good driving car it does several issues that should be addressed that I have not mentioned in the description. A/C is not working(it has been removed from the car) Fan Shroud needs to be installed. It is present, but it is sitting in trunk. ABS is not hooked up Lower oil pan gasket. This car does leak a couple drops of oil and the gasket should be replaced. Driver Side door lock is loose. It is present, but appears the nut that holds it is place needs to be tighted(take off the door interior door panel) Overall/Sales Condition: This is a great chance to get into an early M3 that has the potential to appreciate in value. This car is not a perfect car, but it has good foundation and would make a great car to restore while you drive it. This car has great upgrades and makes it a very fun car to drive.
