This an all electric car converted in the early 90's. I have the original paperwork from when the conversion was done. It is a 128 volt system powered by 16 - 8 volt batteries. The interior is in great shape. The body needs work. The car is solid underneath. This Beetle only has 59k miles on the odometer. It needs at least 4 batteries to drive properly. I was told it would do 60 mph for 30 miles. It does move but slow and not far until the batteries get replaced. It has Empi wheels and floor mats, a Hurst shifter. It is a 4 speed with a clutch. I am selling because I have 3 jobs and I don't have the time to work on it. This would be great for a handy person.
