Up for auction is a 1939 Chevrolet Master 85 Business Coupe. This car is a numbers matching vehicle and loaded with original factory options. The car has won numerous trophies since its restoration in 1988. The paint is black lacquer with clear and is in very nice condition. As with aged lacquer it does tend to have a little bit of checking or 'crows feet' here and there. It is a nice car to drive and enjoy and take to a car show. All the chrome has been replated as well as the interior redone to original factory specs. All window trim has been woodgrained by hand. Only issue with engine is the rear main babbit bearing has a small drip when the car is shut off. At the time of rebuild no one was able to repour new babbit seals and many Chevys of the 1930's have this issue, especially if they're older restorations.
