Vehicle Detail

Hello all, here is my 65 Lincoln Continental. I bought it a couple years ago with the intent to fix it up over time, but it has come apparent that I just dont have the time or money. So it has just sat for that last two years and I figure it is best to let someone that might actually work on it a chance rather than it just waste away in my yard! I starts up and drives, but has no brakes. E-brake works. I drove it through my neighborhood when I moved last year! So the goods and bads: Goods; Does start and drive. When started it idles fine. All glass is in good shape, crack in front windshield but I have a spare one that came with car with no cracks. (will have to figure out to ship the replacement windshield. I will take it to get boxed up to ship with car if buyer prefers, but I cant guarantee it will make it there without being cracked. Maybe can ship it separately at buyers expense with insurance? We will have to work that out) body seems pretty straight with no major dents. Bads; brakes dont work, some of the electrical windows dont work, to get the starter to turn over the shifter has to be in just the right position (seems to be a loose electrical connection maybe) Some surface rust on the top of car where the top is ripped a bit ( That has seemed to just start in the last year or so) Rust on the rear trunk lid (inside portion) this seems to be the worst part affected by rust, can see a few spots on outside of trunk in which the rust is coming through. Have not started it since last summer. It is tough to start in winter, but Im sure it will start if needed with a little effort (Starter fluid!) Interior; dash is cracked in a couple spots, seats are in decent shape. Door electrical switches are in good working order, but I thing there is a couple broken ones on drivers door. It did come with some replacement switches though. Paint is pretty interesting, previous owner put some kind of funky decals on the sides. All the chrome pieces appear to be on the car and in good shape. The drivers side front vertical chrome piece for the front windshield has a hole in it as it has a spot light installed in there. I will try to add as many pics as I can, but feel free to contact me with any questions. I can also take pics of anything and send to you via email. Car is located in Reno, NV so if you are within distance I am more than happy to show you the car in person. Priced to sell!
